Mike is an impact measurement and management specialist with a track record in helping organisations to embed positive change within their business and progress their social objectives. At The Good Economy Mike primarily works with our clients in social and affordable housing.
Having studied engineering at Cambridge University and environmental science at the University of Southampton, Mike takes an evidence-based, systems approach to problem solving and strategy, using theoretical models and frameworks to analyse and design drivers for change.
Mike joined TGE in 2020 from social investment firm Resonance where he worked as a consultant, helping social enterprises to raise capital from values-aligned investors. Prior to this, Mike spent 10 years working in renewable energy, both on the technical side of solar PV system design and in financing, managing community share offers, eco-bonds and commercial acquisitions.
Outside of work Mike is a trustee at Bath City Farm, a charity providing educational and health & wellbeing projects within the local community, where he helps with financial planning and developing new projects.
