Paul Stanworth

Paul co-led The Good Economy’s Place Based Impact Investing (PBII) collaboration, a project which aimed to mobilise greater flows of institutional investment to more inclusive and sustainable development across the UK. Paul worked on the project alongside TGE's Sarah Forster and Mark Hepworth, in collaboration with the Impact Investing Institute and Pensions for Purpose.

As a finance and investment professional, with 30 years-experience across asset management, finance and insurance, Paul has acted as CIO on several major UK funds. Most recently, this included setting up Legal & General Capital as a unit to provide early stage investment to UK businesses and infrastructure. This unit pioneered the drive for socially useful investments by large institutions, a sector that remains core to Paul’s current advisory roles.
