Samantha Semanek Renninger

Samantha Semanek Renninger is a Senior Impact Analyst at The Good Economy, where she supports clients in understanding and managing their impact through research and analysis. She is particularly passionate about innovative financial solutions that mobilise capital to underserved populations and drive inclusive development.

Before joining The Good Economy, Samantha worked across the impact investing and international development sectors, including roles at the U.S. Development Finance Corporation, IOM Niger, and Vital Voices Global Partnership, as well as consulting independently on impact measurement and management. Her earlier career spans book publishing and political campaigns, equipping her with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Samantha holds the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing. She earned a BA in French and International Studies from Franklin & Marshall College and an MSc in International Development from Georgetown University. Her academic work has explored themes of religion and secularism in modern France, gender, impact evaluation, and the intersection of development and finance.
