Sarah Forster and Mark
Hepworth founded The Good Economy in 2015. We wanted to create a mission-driven business that built on our combined 50 years’ experience in international and UK economic development,
finance and impact measurement and management.
Our business has grown rapidly on a rising tide of interest in impact investment, as embodied in the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals. We work with investors across the spectrum of capital – from socially responsible asset managers to specialist impact investors. We also work with governments, business and social purpose organisations.
Today, we have a strong reputation across sectors and in the investment world as a trusted social advisor and impact measurement and management specialist. We work across all asset classes – debt, equity, public equities, fixed income and real estate – and across all sectors and geographies.
Specialist areas of work include impact services for investors in affordable housing and SMEs, as well as data analytics for socially responsible investors looking to assess the contribution of company employment to wider society.
The heart of The Good Economy is a team of highly committed people based in Bath and London. Beyond our team, we collaborate with business and social partners on sector-wide issues and joint projects.
