TGE welcomes new staff and advisors
The Good Economy (TGE) has expanded its core team and brought in new senior advisorsnat a time of a rapid growth in work supporting clients to contribute to inclusive and sustainable development.
Paul Stanworth, former CEO for Legal & General Capital, has joined TGE as a Principal Associate and co-lead on the Place Based Impact Investment, a collaboration being led by The Good Economy, the Impact Investing Institute and Pensions for Purpose.
Susan Hickey, a former CFO at Peabody Trust, has joined TGE as a senior advisor following her work with the ESG Social Housing Working Group developing the soon-to-be launched Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing. Susan sits on the internal Assessment Committee for TGE’s impact reporting for investors in social and affordable housing and provides advice in this area of business.
Mike Foxcroft joined TGE in October as a project manager and housing impact specialist. Mike joins TGE from social investment firm, Resonance. Prior to this Mike spent ten years working in renewable energy.
Isobel Tan and Toby Black have joined TGE as research and project management assistants as part of the company’s student placement partnership with the University of Bath. Isobel is studying for a degree in International Development with Economics, while Toby is studying Economics and Politics.
Finally, Catrin Owen, who recently completed her postgraduate studies in Economics, has joined TGE as a Research Assistant. Catrin’s appointment follows her work on a joint research project exploring the economic impact of Covid-19 on the city of Bath between TGE and the Institute for Policy Research at the University of Bath.
